Music Mood
I'm not sure whether is the autumn temperatures, the color change of trees, or if I'm just getting older......but I think that my favorite genre of music is changing. I know what your thinking......you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl!! But honestly, its been months since I have listened to a country station for more than 5 min. Don't worry Carrie Underwood....you are still my favorite country artist, but I'm kinda into a variation of pop singers with R&B background. The good beats and amazing vocals are converting me over to a side that I never have enjoyed before. Some of my favs include Colbie Caillat, He is We, The Fray, Cold play, James Morrison, Joshua Radin, and my Favorite......Sara Bareilles.

All the things that I hope I never Forget!!!!
This past weekend I am sure that all of you heard Pres. Uchtdorf's talk about forget-me-not flowers. Such a great talk and if you haven't heard it, I highly suggest that you read it.
Along those same lines I want to make a list of the things that I am most thankful for and hope I never ever forget.
1. I am a Daughter of a King!!! That means that I am a princess in all its glamor even when others think differently.
2. I have the best friends in the world!!!!! When I think of all the BFF's that I have, I truly consider me the luckiest girl on the planet. You know who you are but here is the list if you are wondering your status because even though I don't talk to you everyday....YOU ARE THE BEST!!
In order of how I met you: Amberly (still think about you all the time), Lindsey, Amanda, Danielle, Amanda D., Kate, Nicole, Heather, Jessica, Lorin, Mariah, Jayme, Tasha, Whitney, Kaitlyn, Aubrey!
3. I have the most supportive, fun, and spiritual family ever!!! They always can make me smile and I can go to them with anything. Eternity isn't long enough with these guys in my corner.
4. I love love love my job. I thoroughly enjoy dealing with kids everyday. They make me frustrated at times, but I truly love the career path that I have chosen and the opportunity to work with the rising generation gives me hope in so many things.
5. My Savior is Jesus Christ and he loved me enough to Die for me in order that I might return to live with him forever. I have such a greater understanding of this since I received my endowment on Sept. 8, 2010. I hope to live up to my promises so that I can have the blessings that I know that I can inherit.
6. The broken road that has lead me to where I am today, I wouldn't change for anything. I have grown so much and experienced amazing things over the past 7 years and I am so grateful for the lessons learned.
7. So many other things that I could write, but I think that this will do for now.

Winter Weather
So here is the thing.......I hate the winter in February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, & October. Mostly, I want the winter to last for 3 months and then be sunny and summer the rest of the time. Being a coach of a spring sport in Utah is like dealing with the most Bipolar weather every known to man!!!!! Just to explain my theory......Saturday, was the most beautiful day. I spent the entire day in shorts and capri's just loving my life. Sunday, went on a motorcycle ride...so fun but kinda cold. Monday, spent the day inside complaining about the rain and wondering if my team would be able to play the next day. So.....with the worry, I decided to go out to my field and dig trenches from puddle to puddle in order to drain the field. It took me 4 hours!!!! That night it rained more. Tuesday, the sun was supposed to come out and peek its little head on my field to dry the mud. Sun didn't come out til 3:30, just after we had to cancel our game because the field was too muddy. Wednesday, sunny til 3:30 just in time for us to freeze during our make up game. That night it pours. Today it is supposed to down pour and low and behold I'm sitting here looking out wondering where the rain is. It'll probably show up at 3:00 just in time for our game to be cancelled. Ugh......Utah weather is so BIPOLAR!!!!!!!!!!!

Becca's Birthday SHOUT OUT!!!!!
Its my sister's 28th Birthday today!!!!! She totally rocks so I thought that I would share the top 10 things that I love about her the most.
#1 For years, she would play catch with me in front of our house. I attribute my accuracy in throwing to her because she would make me chase it if I missed. And at our house that means I either swam in the pond or ran a mile to the barn. Lets say I learned fast. Thanks Becca for the patience
#2 Becca is the best cook!!!!! Especially when it comes to desserts! She makes the best cupcakes, sugar cookies, and apple pie that I have ever tasted!! She usually has a theme with her cooking and I especially love Halloween because there is always something exciting to find. Here are some of her creations.
#3 She is the best mom!!!!! Her little boy Ethan is a handful sometimes, and she is so amazing with him. He is brilliant and its because of all the hours of school at home, bedtime reading, playtime, and love that she shows to him. I'm so grateful for the blessing our family has received by allowing Becca to be a Mom! She's the best!
#4 Becca has a great social and loving personality!! She is always excited to see you, no matter how often or how long she saw you last. Ethan has inherited her personality as well and I love their enthusiasm to see me every time they come over. They are always smiling!!
#5 After years of being scared to even drive on the freeway, she has traveled to so many places and has totally come out of her shell to influence those that she visits. She's been to Europe to sing, Africa for service, Alaska, California, Canada, and Seattle. She is one brave chica and I am so glad that she has taken advantage of the opportunities to travel. Here is a picture of her and Ethan in Alaska.
#6 I love her for driving me to school everyday in our Barney Bus that would break down when it rained, or when it was hot, or just randomly. So many frustrating mornings of it not starting brought her to tears. That car hated Becca and she hated it more. But I will be forever grateful to her for driving me around to practice, parties, and school everyday. ***Remember the Dead fish?**** Good times!
#7 She is the most jumpy person that I know! When we were little every night I would hide in a different spot and scare her after she got out of the shower. I would hide around every corner, under her bed, in the laundry hamper, behind her closet doors, or anywhere else that i could find to hide. Without fail I would scare her every night! So #7......Thanks for not killing me for each night of frightful suspicion.
#8 My sister's house is my own personal Blockbuster! She has so many movies, and I always call her to borrow movies. I need to invest in a Blue-Ray player cause all the new good ones that they have are in Blue-Ray. But thanks for all the entertainment.
#9 Party Aunt!! When it comes to planning play dates for the nieces and nephews, my sister is the bomb! She is always such a good time and she always comes up with things to involve everyone. Here is some of our summer parties! We love time with our family.
#10 Becca loves holiday's!!!!! If there is an excuse to decorate, party, or dress up, my sister is all over it. Halloween is the best. She always has a theme picked out for the family to be. This year she, Brett, and Ethan were characters from Toy Story!
At Christmas time, Becca's house is always decorated so cute and they bring in the Christmas Season Spirit by attending Spanish Fork's light festival. Becca and Ethan love it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECCA!!!! You're the best and I love ya to death! Hope you have a great birthday!

Christmas Is......
Just around the corner and I feel like it was just Halloween 4 weeks ago and Thanksgiving was yesterday. I have 2 present already taken care of, but then I look at all the people I still need to get things for and realized that I need to hit the stores......which I hate. I always end up buying something for myself, which is selfish....but then again, I don't have anyone buying me awesome presents so I can justify it. Plus, half the time people just say to me.....You pick it out, buy it, and we'll pay you back (which totally takes away the surprise on Christmas morning).
For example, this year I wanted to make me an Orem Tiger blanket to take to games, etc. So I cut out all the fabric, sewed it together, and tied it all by myself. My mom thinks that she is giving it to me, but really I did it for myself. hahaha don't tell her that!!!
My grandma is giving me floor mats for my new car......I'm getting an itrip from my sister in law for a Itouch that I have still yet to buy, and for my parents we gave them a new hardwood floor. Its already installed, stained, and decorated.
So my question is.......WHAT HAPPENED TO CHRISTMAS SURPRISES? The fun of Christmas morning is no fun as an adult!!! Especially when you are the youngest and your Christmas morning consists of you, and your parents. BUT......I must say this.....I have the best parents in the WORLD!!!!! And my nieces and nephews add the surprise back into my life. They are so fun to surprise.
So that Brings up the point........Is Christmas surprises designed for the innocent kids, or for those that give the present? You decided.....I see it both ways.
Anyways, I love you all and I hope that this holiday season is full of happiness and surprises!!! Its the moments and memories that make all the difference. Make the memories!!!
